Joel Reynolds has joined Strategic Global Advisors as Chief Compliance Office

We are pleased to announce that Joel Reynolds has joined Strategic Global Advisors as Chief Compliance Officer. Joel was most recently with PIMCO and brings over 16 years of experience in investment compliance. His biography is provided below.

John Whittaker has led both our compliance and operational efforts over the past five years, helping us develop a premier investment management organization. As part of the firm’s controlled growth strategy, we have made the decision to divide our Chief Compliance Officer/Chief Operating Officer role into two positions. John will be transitioning responsibility for all compliance functions to Joel and will continue to oversee our operational functions as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Reynolds is Chief Compliance Officer at SGA and responsible for all of the firm’s compliance functions. Prior to joining SGA, Mr. Reynolds was Senior Vice President, Senior Compliance Officer at PIMCO for more than eight years, where he was responsible for managing core

functions related to regulatory and investment compliance, including personal trading, portfolio compliance, client certifications, and compliance training. Previously, Mr. Reynolds was a vice president in compliance at lncome Research & Management and held compliance positions with Geode Capital Management and Fidelity lnvestments. He has 16 years of compliance experience, holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School, and an MBA from Babson College. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Utah. He is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts and Arizona.
